Museum STEM Educator

POSITION VACANCY: Part-time Museum STEM Educator - The STEM Educator will support in any aspect of museum operations as required, such as preparation of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education program development/facilitation, exhibit development, education collections cataloging, and school and group tours. Additionally, preparation of objects for storage and research may be required. This position will be 20 hours per week, Wednesday-Saturday, with flexibility. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate, Undergraduate, or Master’s Degree in broad-field science, biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, environmental science, technology/engineering, museum studies, education, related fields, or equivalent. Comfort with teaching interdisciplinary history and science content. Minimum of one year experience developing and delivering programs in museums or other educational venues.
