Registration for our 2024 NCMC Annual Conference is now open!

    Cherokee, NC
Harrah's Cherokee Hotel & Casino Resort
    April 7 & 8, 2024

MEMBER REGISTRATION RATES ARE NOW CLOSED.

As Museum Professionals, Board Members, Volunteers, Students, and Enthusiasts, we are constantly finding ways to authentically and truthfully tell stories that capture our audience's attention and imagination. This year's North Carolina Museums Council's Annual Meeting in Cherokee challenges all attendees to boldly share the stories your institution stewards by weaving the voices of many into a narrative that empowers our past, present, and future. The concept of weaving encourages many pieces to come together and to work in harmony in order to build something stable and lasting. Using voices in aspects of your work creates an inclusive and equitable story that make your mission and programs relevant today. Don’t miss an incredible lineup of speakers, workshops, activities, networking and so much more. This in-person conference is a way to connect with museum professionals around the state.

Please be aware of the different times to register for the 2024 Annual Conference. Registration for members only will open January 12-31, 2024. You must be a member to register during this time. Members will get an email with a unique code for registration. Then, from February 1- March 1, registration will open to all at the regular price rate. Finally, you can register in our late registration which will last until the end of March.

Full conference registration also includes a list of museum tours, activities and events happening Sunday April 7. Many of these are free but space is limited, so be sure to select the events you plan to attend before they fill up. All professional development lectures, round tables, poster sessions, and panels are happening April 8.
