The Gregg Museum of Art & Design at North Carolina State University seeks applicants for a part-time Education Program Assistant. This is a temporary position that is expected to last a minimum of 11 months. The Education Program Assistant will assist the Curator of Education with the following responsibilities:
• Coordinate the museum’s artist-in-residence program including arranging artist travel, accommodations, and studio rental spaces
• Be responsible for assisting with weekly lecture series: help with set up/break down, program
management, and assist with A/V needs
• Assist in developing K-12 program initiative, and contribute to program ideas and planning
• Assist Curator with NCSU class visits and course outreach efforts as needed
• Coordinate docents, schedule and lead tours and other administrative duties, as needed
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with external and internal audiences, strong public speaking skills, and the ability to work as a team player on a growing staff, and manage multiple projects at once with strong organizational skills.
